Gilbert R. Bailey, Managing Member
Gilbert R. Bailey has been involved in the purchase, sale and financing of land in New England since 1968. The majority of these transactions involved the purchase, subdivision and sale of rural and recreational acreage located in central New England. These transactions were done for his own account or through companies he owned, and they included financing both purchase and sales through investor relationships he developed.
Additionally, he was President and CEO of Land Funding Corporation, a New Hampshire Corporation formed to originate and sell notes secured by first mortgages on land. In 1995 Land Funding Corporation established offices in New York City and operated in the business of the purchase and sale of mortgages. In 1999 the Company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Garban Intercapital, a financial services market maker, and operated under the name of Garban LFC, LLC. Mr. Bailey was President and CEO of this firm.
In June of 2000 Mr. Bailey left Garban LFC and formed a New Hampshire limited liability company named Landmark Land Sales, LLC. Since then, the Company has operated in Southern New Hampshire and has been dealing in all aspects of land purchase, financing, marketing, permitting, and land conservation.
Gill lives with his wife, Lynn, and their two dogs, Sandy and Gracie, in Marlow, New Hampshire.
